I feel I am being totally inconsistent with posting here, but my life is pretty inconsistent right now too. The next few days the computer will be used almost exclusively by my husband, and hopefully at the end of that time his doctoral dissertation and defense presentation slides will be DONE!! The defense is about two weeks, so it will be good to be finished in advance.
So I'll see you next week. If you have a moment, pray for us that all will go well. This has been a long time coming through some really hard years.
I can barely imagine life in a few months - a healthy baby out here with us, and a husband who comes home and doesn't have to spend weeknights and Saturdays writing. I can't wait!

Yea for finishing the document! My husband is on year 4 or 5 and STILL NOT FINISHED! ;-) It became less of a necessity so he is apparently taking his time. I am looking forward to it being done someday!
Camille, same thing happened with us. He got a real job and the need to finish diminished a lot. However, it's definitely something he would regret down the line if it wasn't done, so we have stuck at it. We can hardly believe it's actually almost over - I think it will take months to sink in when it is finally done. Good luck with yours (because as we both know, these things are a whole family project ;) ).
