Another Goal Accomplished!

My husband and I just got back from celebrating the accomplishment of our latest big goal - a fully funded "big" emergency fund. We now have enough that we could live simply for a year with no income, or much longer with some kind of lesser income. It's not exciting in the same way as paying off the debt was - but it is freeing and relaxing.

Next goal - paying for a house in cash. This one is huge, but we are excited about it. The only way to get there is to start working on it and be consistent. When I think of the kind of example this could be for our kids, it is really inspiring.

(P.S. - My apologies for the infrequent postings. Between my husband working on his PhD and the crazy hot weather keeping me out of the room where our computer lives, I just haven't had the time. Hopefully next week will go better.)
