One of the (many) things I want to get done before the baby gets here is to finally put together travel scrapbooks from our three trips to Ireland and England in recent years. I took a bunch of pictures and made notes of what we did when. So I have everything I need, I just have to do it.
I'm not a fancy scrapbooker. I just like a simple presentation of photos and text, to help us remember what we did. So I may need to buy a little more paper and an album or two, but that part shouldn't be too expensive. I'll use my craft store coupons to get good deals on these. (Signing up for the newsletters from the craft stores works very well for me. I have decided not to get the newspaper right now, so I wouldn't receive them otherwise. It seems silly to buy things at the craft stores without a coupon!)
The other expense is printing the photos. In the age of digital cameras, we tend not only to take more pictures than we would want to actually put in an album or scrapbook, but some of us also never get them printed! I have taken advantage of free photo printing deals for some nice bigger photos, as well as some 4x6s (check moneysavingmom.com for this kind of deal, most often at Walgreen's). This week I'm going to use a 50 prints for $5 coupon from Walgreen's to get some more prints both conveniently and at a good price. It's very easy - I just order the photos online and pick them up when I am in the area.
Hopefully I'll get these scrapbooks done soon. There will be lots of new and wonderful things to take pictures of this summer!

I totally love Walgreens for photo developing! Not only are they cheap and quick, but I can walk the little ones down to get the prints! I did both of the baby books that way a plan to start a few more photo albums before we move and it is less convenient!
